Why and how do we use ozone?

Our office mainly uses ozone in the following forms:

  • Ozone gas eliminates bacteria and decay, desensitizes in restorative appointments, and promotes internal healing.
  • ​Ozonated water is used in all operatories to sterilize and provide additional benefits during dental cleanings.
  • Ozonated olive oil is applied topically to help heal tissue after extractions and other procedures. It can be purchased at our office to be used as an additional at-home healing therapy.

What can ozone therapy help with?
